Proposed Apt. Building at 44th & Vincent – Survey Results Available
In April, LHiNC collected community feedback about a 30- to 40-unit apartment building with 25-35 parking stalls proposed for 44th Street West and Vincent. The developers – Good Neighbor Homes and Streetfront Development – attended LHiNC’s Zoning and Housing Committee meeting in May to present the project and answer residents’ questions. View their presentation slides and concept drawings here.
Community Survey Results
Seventy-five people took part in the survey. Results showed that 46% of respondents are opposed to the project, 25% are undecided and 29% support it. Parking was the top concern of respondents, followed by increased population density and affordability. LHiNC invites the community to check out the survey results in detail here.
Next Steps
If any community members wish to share additional feedback, they should email info@lindenhills.org or attend a future Zoning and Housing meeting. LHiNC will also be sharing the survey results with the developers and will invite the developers back to a future LHiNC Zoning and Housing Committee meeting to provide updates to the community.
The developers plan to apply for rezoning (R2 to R4) and submit their Land Use application in May. The application would then go before the City Planning Commission in a public hearing over the summer.
