Next LHiNC Zoning Committee Hearing – June 10th

LHiNC’s Zoning and Housing Commitee will meet on Monday, June 10 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Linden Hills Park Building (in the Arts & Crafts room). The meeting is open to the public; we welcome all to attend.

The agenda for the evening is as follows:

  • 7:10 p.m. Project Presentation: Multiple-family Dwelling at 44th and Beard
  • 7:40 p.m. Variance Request: House Relocation from 2616 W 44th Street to 4400 Thomas Ave S
  • 8:10 p.m. Security Rebate Program for local businesses
  • 8:40 p.m. New Business

First, the LHiNC Zoning and Housing Committee will hear from architects and project managers for the new construction of a 42-unit, multiple-family dwelling located at 4418 and 4422 Beard Avenue. The building meets all current zoning and code requirements and requires no conditional use permits or variances. If you can’t attend, but would like to comment, please email info@lindenhills.org.

Then, the developers of an apartment project at 2614-2620 44th Street will present a variance request. They want to save the home currently located at at 2616 44th Street by relocating it to 4400 Thomas Ave S. They are requesting a setback variance.
