Community Survey Results on Lake Harriet Parkway Re-opening

When MPRB announced its plan to re-open Lake Harriet Parkway to motor vehicle traffic on April 27, Linden Hills Neighborhood Council created a survey to poll our residents about the decision and ask them for their collective feedback to be shared with the park board. Thank you to everyone who participated.

LHiNC launched the survey on Tuesday, April 21 and closed it on Friday, April 24. We received 509 responses. Of the respondents, 87% (438) did not support the re-opening of Lake Harriet to traffic.

Results were shared with Park Superintendent Al Bangoura, Park Board President Jono Cowgill, and District 6 Board Commissioner Brad Bourn, as well as Ward 13 Council Member Linea Palmisano.
