Summer at Linden Hills Library
Fun events and activities for kids and adults
Summer learning kicks off June 25. Come to the library for a free new book (while supplies last), and pick up a “Read Write Draw” (PreK – grade 6) or “Best Book Ever” (teens) sheet to review or draw about a book you’ve read this summer.
Stuffed Animal Sleepover, June 28
Come by the library June 28, 6:30-7:30pm to drop off your stuffie for a sleepover at the library! Read them a bedtime story and tuck them in for the night. Pick them up the next day and see pictures of all the activities they did during their library sleepover!
All summer long the Linden Hills Library will host:
- Story Strolls on the lawn every Saturday, all day.
- Crafts on the LH Library Plaza on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m.– noon (weather permitting).
- Monthly Linden Hills Virtual Book Club (Adults) meetings. For info, please email LH Librarian Jessica Ryan, jryan@hclib.org.
You can also enjoy the upstairs deck (note: wi-fi is great out there!) and get summer book suggestions based on your reading interests here.
