LHiNC Board Meeting: Metro Transit to Share Updated E line Plan
If you would like to attend LHiNC’s Virtual Board Meeting on March 1 at 7:00 pm, please RSVP here.
The METRO E Line is an arterial bus rapid transit (BRT) line that will upgrade and substantially replace Route 6, an important route in Linden Hills. The new E Line will have four BRT station platforms in Linden Hills. These platforms are larger (60 feet long) and feature shelters with lights, heaters and benches.
In Fall 2021, Metro Transit collected public feedback on the initial draft of this line. Project staff compiled and reviewed the feedback and will now release the Recommended Corridor Plan at the end of February for another round of public comment.
At LHiNC’s March 1 Virtual Board Meeting, Metro Transit will present the Metro E Line Recommended Corridor Plan. There will also be time for questions and to take feedback. If you’d like to attend, please RSVP here.
