2021 Election Forums
Linden Hills Neighborhood Council is partnering with several neighborhood organizations and area churches to help organize and/or sponsor election forums focused on our ward and park district.
Minneapolis Park Board District 6
Tuesday, September 28, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Hybrid: Mt. Olivet Church and Live Stream
LHiNC is proud to sponsor this nonpartisan candidate forum, your chance to meet the candidates for District 6 of the Minneapolis Park Board. The League of Women Voters will be moderating and it will be offered both in person at Mount Olivet Church (5025 Knox Ave S) and virtually streamed and recorded. Ward 13 City Council Candidates
Monday, October 4 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Hybrid: St. John’s Episcopal Church and Live Stream
Organized by LHiNC and St. John’s Episcopal Church, this Ward 13 Candidate Forum will be held in-person at St. John’s (4201 Sheridan Ave S), as well as live-streamed and recorded. Charter Amendments Forum
Saturday, October 16 from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
Hybrid: Mayflower Church and Live Stream
A partnership of Southwest Minneapolis neighborhood organizations, including LHiNC, will host a public forum about three amendments on the ballot: government structure, public safety and rent stabilization. Advocates in favor of and opposed to each charter amendment will make their case. The forum will be moderated by The League of Women Voters of the White Bear Lake Area.
