The Linden Hills Neighborhood Council is replacing their long-time Executive Director role with a Community Coordinator position. This new position will guide the organization’s day-to-day operations and work to build a stronger social fabric across the businesses, homeowners and renters of Linden Hills. THE COMMUNITY COORDINATOR WILL:

  • Provide staff support for the Board and its committees/projects
  • Prepare agenda and materials for monthly board meetings
  • Assist with the LHiNC Annual Meeting and board orientation
  • Manage the organization’s email account, website and social media channels
  • Work with the Board on newsletters and marketing materials
  • Work with the board and volunteers to execute the organization’s two primary fundraiser events: the Taste of Linden Hills and the Linden Hills Fall Festival
  • Work with the organization’s treasurer and bookkeeper to maintain books and bank accounts

LOGISTICS AND PAY

  • Job Type: Part-time
  • Pay: $25.00 per hour
  • Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
  • Benefits: Flexible schedule, Work from home most of the time
  • Compensation package: 1099 contract with hourly pay
  • Schedule: Choose your own hours, with some evening board meetings and weekends as needed
  • Travel requirement: No travel
