Join Plastic-Free Challenge – LHiNC Info Session Jan. 17

Find out how you can participate in this month-long, county-wide effort to reduce plastic consumption in ways that fit best in your lifestyle and have the most impact on reducing your footprint. Join LHiNC’s Environment and Sustainability Committee online on Tuesday, January 17 at 7:00 p.m. for an info session on Hennepin County’s upcoming Plastic-Free Challenge. The Hennepin County Plastic-Free Challenge is a month-long effort starting February 1 to reduce plastic consumption, especially single-use plastics, in ways that fit best in your lifestyle and have the most impact on reducing your footprint. The online challenge has 70 actions you can take to reduce your plastic consumption. Once you register, you can select one-time actions and daily actions you’d like to make progress on during the four-week challenge. Participate on your own or create a team with family, friends, neighbors, or colleagues. Sign up by January 31.
